Just wondering if anybody has some setup sheets that I can print off. I have some generic ones that I was using but it was geared more for a stock car. Anybody have anything for formula cars??
Thanks!
Andrew

there was some a while ago. I may still have the pdf files that i got from prior iteration of this site.
let me check tonite.
Sure -
2 Pager Car Prep sheet (inspired by C. Smiths books)
Chassis Set Up Sheets
Gear Ratio Charts
Track Session Sheets
Wet Race Check List
Trailer Packing Check List
Stapled together, it essentially makes up a "Race Weekend Package" (including a place to record Hotel room confirmations etc.) that stays together from when I start prepping the car until I file it away the Monday after I return home.
When the results sheets and receipts etc are thrown in the file it makes for a good reference system.
Unfortunately your profile does not allow me to email you directly - please email me and I will foreword any or all of the above to you.

Jonathan,
Sounds as though you have a very detailed set up sheet, and I like the other things you mentioned. Having raced karts for many years we have set-up sheets for them, but I would be very interested in a copy of yours if you dont mind. Please e-mail them to; kbedens@hotmail.com
Thanks

There are a ton of sheets posted on this site here: http://www.apexspeed.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12473

OK - here you go. I wrote the above post from work so I couldn't post them earlier today.
All the usual disclaimers apply. I am posting them in WORD format so you can delete/edit/add as you wish. Take my name out if you wish for I take no responsibility for copyright or claim of originality. There are no new ideas here. I use what works for me and often make extra copies to hand out at the track because someone will see you using them and ask for a copy. I mostly prep older cars so the list suits that application. Your needs may vary.
The gear chart is nothing fancy, I just delete the ratio slopes from the correct chart so I can print out custom charts for the ratios I have for that car. Please alter the rear tire diameter value on the metrics tab to suit your application.
Please pass these on.
Unless I am the one prepping your car, I make no guarantees that these sheets or their content is 100% accurate or applicable for your application. Hopefully it will be an idea generator for you and you can tailor it to suit your specific needs.
Happy Holidays everyone.

What does the schedule look like?? I havent planned out my year yet. I race motorcycles too so it kind of depends what dates will conflict.
The schedule is not finalized yet - see link for 3 out of the 4 weekends.

Send Steve Beeler an email to get on the mailing list for all the latest series news.

Looks like I will be able to make blackhawk and possibly RA. Is this series run under SCCA or is it a seperate organization?
Thanks
The series is run under SCCA. The Blackhawk and RA event usully see about 30+ formula fords and club fords, so there is always someone to race against.

In an attempt to keep these files in an "editable" format, I realize that they may not appear correctly when you open them on your home computer.
I just downloaded them to my work computer (3rd shift can be slow...) and noticed that on some files, the formatting of my headers was causing layout issues when viewed on a machine other than the one I use at home.
I hope this didn't mess anyone up too much!
The rose picture and the SIRS logo should be on the same line so you may need to reformat to straighten things up in the headers. All the columns should then sort themselves out.
If it still doesn't work I have PDF versions.
