I just received one about 10 days ago from Schultz. Semi custom, about 4 -5 weeks for that, and the price is competitive (for my FV). Seems well made and it is as drawn.

Do these cells have the required certifications for SCCA?
I believe that cells have to be FIA or FAA certified to be legal for SCCA competition. A quick glance at the web site did not indicate that the cells were certified.
From the supplied link > if you look very carefully at the white example at the Schultz website, one can see where it says >
SPEC: SFI
I don't know that this answers the FIA / FAA question.
Glad to hear there's alternative to the usual suspects.
Ethan recommended me to this company for a custom fuel cell for a Lotus 23. Fair prices, excellent quality and good service. Jim Harmon is ex Fuel Safe.

I worked with them to build a copy of the Citation FV “winged” cell. They scan the cell and put it in a Cad drawing, so should be able to order from the drawings without sending your cell in. The first is in my son’s car now.
I thought the cost was on the high side, but looking at published prices from other manufacturers, I think there is a new normal.
I am working on a universal cell that will fit many FVs but that will be an off season project.
I found they were very busy the first part of the year so if planning for next year, now is a good time to get started.

Disclaimer - I have worked with Harmon and know people who have worked with Pyrotect and Schultz spoke highly of them - just trying to get a company going here on the East Coast. Not getting any discounts or special deals for promoting them.(but always open to sponsorship....)
