Well, its done

60 years old, 38 years on Bay Street, 5 race cars in the garage with a 65 Elan and a 68 Mustang and a couple of vintage motorcycles. Announced my retirement (effective Spring 2026) this morning. It has been a humbling, flattering experience, getting the feedback from clients and colleagues. Knowing that, as an investment banker, I've been faking it all along, it has worked out pretty well

House in PEI is 80% done, ready by late August. Shop is 100% complete (thank you some time ago for all of the great ideas on shop construction guys - many suggestions were used), and the Lola 492 is already sitting inside.

What a weird/great/emotional day!

No real reason to post this, other than to share my obvious joy.

PEI sounds great, we were across the strait (bay?) and didn’t go to look… between Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, we were enamored enough and have looked at a couple places in NF… one never knows…

Congrats on having a last day scheduled, and enjoy whatever twist your “new work” may bring.

Eric PEI is pretty nice. My sister lives in NF and loves it - you won't find nicer people (well, maybe in Wisconsin!). But the difference during winter between PEI/NS and NF is.......material let's call it. Visit in February before making any rash moves
