    Default June Sprints

Registration for the June Sprints is open - As RaceDog says "Enter early and Enter often".

The Chicago Region thought it was very important to include our run group and we don't need to take that faith for granted. The return to the traditional single race format made it possible to invite us to the June Sprints - arguably the most famous club race in America.

We are expecting a nice field with a good chance of it being the best subscribed formula car class. Even though we are early, there are 8 FF entered which is equal to FV and FC and more than any other formula car class! And... the FF/FV/F6 run group is the second largest run group (behind SRF3) as of 4/11/25.

We have multiple Formula F USA participants entered - everyone remember to bring your new T Shirts and show your colors. If you need gearing, setup or driving advice assistance please reach out and we will try to help.

I am so bummed that a family/kids activity commitment has me covered up for Sunday. I was really hoping the one race format might give us a race group on Saturday, but such is life.

    Default June Sprints update

RaceDog reports the small open wheel group at the June Sprints is the largest run group (28 entries) other than the 41 car SRF3 field!

Currently we have 9 FF and expect more - my personal goal is 15 FF for the June Sprints. Remember that the move to a one race June Sprint format has been controversial and specifically benefits the small open wheel group.

Showing up is the best way we can show our support for the opportunity. We have multiple drivers available to offer first timer advice/help/support as needed. Hit me up if you want me to connect you to a FF mentor/buddy for the June Sprints 2025.

    Default 9 FF's so far

    https://www.motorsportreg.com/events...-racing-947597

9 FF's so far for the June Sprints and I'm hearing from a handful more they intend to enter. I'm also getting phone calls and emails from the Chicago Region folks asking if we need anything in particular, or help. So let me know if there is.

Please enter sooner rather than later as it helps our cause and helps the region make plans.

At the moment, the Small Formula Group is the 2nd largest at 33 followed closely by wings and things. SRF is ahead by 10. FF is the 7th largest class. 1 rocker arm car and 8 push-rod cars. We were really hoping the new tire rule would bring out the rocker arm and outboard suspension cars.

Heads up, RA has a Wednesday and Thursday test day offering as well.
    Thanks,

    Tony Stefanelli
