    Default Rance

I am interested to know the empty weight of the trailer as well as the total load capacity and the GVWR.

Can you also provide more detail on the awning that was mentioned as damaged?

    Thanks!

x2, I'm more curious in weight as next year I'll have a second car and need to go to something like this as well.

Great question, I should have included that info in my post. The empty weight is 6,643lbs and the GVWR is 9,900lbs. That gives you 3,257lb of cargo capacity. Here is an image of the VIN plate:

The awning is a Forest River 22ft 9000 series model. According to the mnf, they do not make replacement parts for the 9000 series. The cost for a new one would be $1,200 - $1,400; however, the mounts on the trailer are such that you could install almost any 22ft awning.

Also, the trailer has 6,000 axles but we de-rated the registration to 9,900lbs so no CDL would be necessary. If you wanted to re-register the trailer with a 12,000 GVWR you could. Hope that helps!

    Default Double Checking Overall Height

Can you please confirm the overall height of the trailer? It certainly does not look like anywhere near 12 feet in height from the pictures. If that specification is incorrect, what is the actual interior height?

I am very interested but just trying to get all the details correct.

Kinda heavy for an Aluminum trailer. Most 24s I've seen are under 3500#. I guess there's 3000# of added equipment and the extra 2ft... but at 10k it carries 1 road car. Even uprated to 12k it's barely 2 sedan race cars......

Very nice trailer if it works for you....

You are correct, I just went an measured the trailer and it is only 105in tall, or just over 8.5ft. I screwed that up because the drawing said +12in and I read that to mean 12ft overall. 12 feet would be insane! My apologies! The interior height is 90in.
