There's a tight hairpin that needs a 17/35 first. You might get away with a 15/30. I believe they will run the oval turns 3 and 4, like the last time I was there, so you want a tall 4th- 24/28 at least I would guess. 2nd and 3rd should be spaced out- maybe a 20/32 and a 22/29 or similar. Turns 2-4 are fairly tight, then a straight followed by a medium speed increasing radius sweeper and another longer straight leading to the hairpin.
A couple of people tried to take wings off to get more speed on the banking- it was pretty funny watching them try to turn in at turn 1...
Thinking of doing the Time Trials at TGP next month. I have a Van Diemen RF96 and would like some suggestions on gearing for this track. Thanks
Doubt I have any notes on a Tallad. gearing but a good start would be the same as for Daytona. Next time I'm out in the garage, I'll look in my notes
I plan on running Homestead latter part of June and was looking for gearing recommendations. FC with a 10/31 diff. I have this info from an earlier post; 17/33 19/31 22/29 24/27. Is this correct? I've heard the track layout may have changed recently. Thanks for any info.
Does anyone have an idea of gears for this track configuration at Pocono ???
The North/South combined road course at Pocono Raceway has been completed! The 2.26 mile N/S course has been completely rebuilt, widened from 30 feet to 45 feet with run-off areas, compacted and fine graded, beyond the track surface at a level with the track pavement. New concrete international curbing has been installed at all appropriate locations along the track. There will also be a total of 17 different road course combinations that can be run either clockwise or counter-clockwise for various different kinds of events. The combined North/South course to be used by Tri-Region in a clock-wise direction is shown in yellow.

Can anyone provide what gear ratios they are running with a 10/31 R&P at MidO? Thanks!
To clarify from my previous post, I have a VD f2000 Zetec. Thanks
Gearing for Kershaw / South Carolina MotorSports park ? F2000 Zetec 13/36 final drive.
Pretty sure all I saw was for 10/36
Thanks
Any insights on the gearing for the new configuration of Pitt Race? 22" Hoosier rears
I've been running 19/32, 21/30, 23/28, 25/27 with 70.5" circumference (22.4" diameter) radial rear Hoosiers and a 10/31.
Any gear ratio recommendations for an FC with 10:31 R&P and Pinto engine running counter clockwise at MSR Houston. Well, while were at it, Eagles Canyon ratios would also be welcome. Thanks
Looking for the subject gears on AR diameter tires please. Can make due with Hoosier data.
Thanks
Bob
Anyone with Circuit of the Americas baseline gearing insight for a Pinto powered '88 Reynard FC?
Anyone have a gear setup for Barber?
Citation F2000 Zetec, 10/31 CWP, Hoosier F2KCS spec radials w/ 70.5" circumference
Anyone have gear advise for MSR Cresson?
Anyone have a known decent gear setup for Gingerman? I have a 13:36 R&P, but I can convert from 10:31. I'm not sure if the suggestions in the baseline database are for the newer long course.
need gear ratios for for a swift 016 , laguna seca, sonoma and auto club raceway roval
thanks,
dee
Any ideas on COTA would be appreciated.
Vintage FB car with 9:31 Mk 8.
Was thinking to run PBIR one last time....... before it maybe becomes a WalMart distribution center?
There was never a published reply back in 2010 to Skip when he asked about Palm Beach gears and no update to the proverbial "what gearing" list over the many years
So some considerations......the back stretch seems shorter than Roebling's straight.....the 180+ degree turn at the end of that straight seems rather tight
so how about comments on this selection for a 10/31 diff '94 Pinto FC 1st = 17/33 (0.5151) 2nd 18/28 (0.6428) 3rd = 21/27 (0.777) 4th = 19/21 (0.9047) Note I think backwards from how some people discuss gear numbers but I've also noticed there are some that think my way. Roughly steps of 13's in between the gears
Thanks
Seattle; Pacific Raceway Park, and The Ridge are not listed here if anyone would like to share their recomendations.
Is it safe to assume that the bulk of the gearing here is for Pinto setups?
Would a Zetec car go up a gear across the board or......?
Planning a track day at National Corvette Museum motorsport park, could use some recommendations. I've ran the track a few times in other things but will be first time with the FF1600 on track. RF78, Avon radials and 10:31
I thought that I had them-can't find them now.
Thanks!
Start with a 17/35 first and a 21/25 fourth. Fill in the other two equally, but be prepared to change them based on how you drive the track.
Tried scrolling thru 9 pages but I'll ask in case I missed something............
Vintage FF with 9:31 and vintage Hoosiers. Any suggestions much appreciated!

I have never run at Thunder, but one of the previous owners of my car had a data sheet that stated for use with 13/36 and 22.40 rear tire: 16/34, 17/29, 21/29, 19/23
Gear suggestions welcome for the Indy road course. Vintage FF 9:31 on Hoosiers
Thx in advance
Looking for gearing at Pitt Race with the Spec Hoosier Bias tire for an FC.
