    Default Great Car

Sorry to see this on the Market.
Is one I wish I never sold.

This car has a very unique/verifiable history.
Details can be found at The Swift Registry.
    www.apexspeed.com/swift/registry.php
It is Car #1 in the Registry Section.

These Pictures Were Taken in 2007 and just prior to the sale.

I was Stuart's, (don't call me "Stu", it takes the "Art" out of my name) mechanic for the '89 Bosch SV series.

A very funny guy. Made his two mechanics wear a Stuart supplied tie on race day, was prone to wear one black shoe and one white shoe.

His car was blue with the Wyndham Hotels logo. At the Road Atlanta event, he went off of T1 and turned over at high speed. The roll hoop just folded back, his visor came open, and his helmet was packed with red dirt. In his interview, Carroll Smith's kid was asked about his actions when he stopped and ran over to the wreck. "I just wanted to get his watch", was the answer.

The spare car was white. Stuart ran a white car with blue pods from that afternoon on. Yes, he raced the same day.

Racing was actually fun back then.

The yellow decal on the front reads "Steakout". A friend of his ran a home-delivery service in Dallas featuring steaks.

I had moved on to the Truesports Indy team by the time he ran FA. Brian Robertson's Ralt American ran Stuart in the Swift. Brian sent the DB4 pods to Ralt and the tunnel design became the basis for the RT40 tunnel.
