Default Long or Short box on WGI Short Course

My son would like to race the July Sprints this coming weekend at Watkins Glen. For some reason I was under the impression that this race was going to be on the long course. Come to find out, it will be on the Short course. I have heard/read that the long course is a short box and the short course is a long box setup. Can anyone who races WGI regularly confirm this is correct. He would like to be competitive, not lose the draft and if that is not possible with a short box, we will most likely pass on this weekend.

    Thanks,
    Rob

    Rob,
Short box is fine, forth gear all the way.

Thanks Dan for your input, we will be going.

John, we are looking to experience/learn other tracks in the Northeast. I wish it would have been the long course as we have never been to WGI, but you got to take what they give you. Justin will have to learn the boot next year.
