Default Are you running a slipper clutch..

    ....is it slipping under load
what happens if you kick in the clutch and get out of the gas when the vibration happens........is it engine or chassis related?

Could the vibration be a misfire? Will it happen just revving the engine while not moving?

Are you sure it's RPM related, and not speed related (ie. it happen regardless of what gear you have selected). If it's gear dependent perhaps it's related to the gears, or some other driveline component (you mentioned checking chains and sprockets) -- what about CV joints, hubs, tires or wheel balance.

If the problem is speed related, perhaps it's an aerodynamic vibration with a broken wing mount or similar.

I'm with David, knowing if it's RPM or speed related is next since it sounds like you already did a quick check for anything obvious.

What rpm does your clutch engage ? Hard on the gas = vibration. EZ on the gas = no vibration.... hmmm ? A weak ignition system can cause a misfire under heavy load....

Check CV cage's for cracks. Also make sure the front and rear sprocket's line up with a strait line.
