2006 Winter Sim League Race 1 - Laguna Seca

Here we go guys. Tonight at 8pm CST is the first week of many races that will tide us over until we're in the seat for real.... Laguna starts us off. We will be running a quick 3 lap qualifier and then three races. Finishing positions for those three races will be awarded points and the points will then be averaged to determind the winner of the event.

RESULTS ARE UP

A fun one as Laguna usually is. Ron Jones, Dave Hopple, and Keith Carter dominated the event with fast lap times in the 1:36 range. Ron Jones wins the season opener with consistent performance in the 3 event races.

My power supply decided to take a crap 6 laps into the last race... that was a neat suprise considering the thing is 3 mos old. It was a lot of fun bringing up the rear of the pack anyway. See you at VIR (another track I have to learn)...
