Default Race car hardware , Phoenix, AZ

    Hi!
I'm visiting Phoenix Arizona (Peoria) on a business trip in august and thought that i would stock up on some hardware since you have metric and standard i the US and we have metric and non standard here in Europe
Is there any recommendation for a good hardware or race shop in the Phoenix area that have a good stock on UNF/UNC cap and hex bolts, K-Nuts, and AN-bolts and washers?
Does Home Depot have a good assortment of basic UNF/UNC

Yes, Home Depot has a good selection of Grade 8 bolts, stop nuts and washers. They also have flange bolts. However, it depends on how well they are stocked and how well that area is maintained by the employees. They are in cardboard slide out trays in the nut/bolt section of the store.

Also look at a Lowe’s, they have the same setup.

For the AN stuff, find an aircraft supply house.

McFadden Dale Industrial Hardware is close around the airport if you are in that area
    4647 S 32nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85040

There are also various Ace Hardware stores around town that carry a surprising amount of metric and SAE. I can put Ace Hardware in the map function of an iPhone and it will pop up the ones that are close by. I assume other phone manufacturers work the same way. If you are toward the north end of town this Ace is usually well stocked due to 3 offroad buggy manufacturers in the area
    13811 N Tatum Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85032

There is also a hardware store that is on the east side of Glendale that local racers tell me is well stocked with metric nuts/bolts. I haven't been to this one because the two I have listed above are closer and usually have whatever I need. I can't remember the name of this place, but I will ask local racers as this may end up being the closest place to Peoria.

Copper state nut and bolt, Six points hardware have stock.
Aircraft Spruce, Wicks aircraft have AN hardware but are out of town.
    Highly recommend getting AN hardware
I would not recommend Home Depot

A couple of years back I bought 50 stainless 10-32 bolts at Ace. 1/4 of them sheared in half during installation.

    YMMV
