    Default new fuel cell supplier

Was looking through some classifieds and saw a cell in a FF that I hadn't heard of before:

I just received one about 10 days ago from Schultz. Semi custom, about 4 -5 weeks for that, and the price is competitive (for my FV). Seems well made and it is as drawn.

Do these cells have the required certifications for SCCA?

I believe that cells have to be FIA or FAA certified to be legal for SCCA competition. A quick glance at the web site did not indicate that the cells were certified.

From the supplied link > if you look very carefully at the white example at the Schultz website, one can see where it says >
    SPEC: SFI
I don't know that this answers the FIA / FAA question.

Glad to hear there's alternative to the usual suspects.

Ethan recommended me to this company for a custom fuel cell for a Lotus 23. Fair prices, excellent quality and good service. Jim Harmon is ex Fuel Safe.

Yes, SFI 28.something. They are fine for SCCA. Good quality IMO.
