Default WTB: Air-cooled Formula Super Vee

Hi folks. As the title says I am on the hunt for an air-cooled Formula Super Vee. Up where I race it's all Libre so no problem with modified, autocross, or hillclimb cars.

Thanks in advance for any leads, recommendations, heads-up, etc., that you can provide.

    Keith.

That car when you get it and get it sorted out with all the right engine parts will bee the least expensive open wheel racing you can do bar none. and it will be pretty fast as well

1975 Tui BH5 Supernova super vee project. Chassis #2. The 75 Supernova was the one of or the first monocoque super vee. This car was campaigned pretty successfully by Bill McConnell. Chassis #1 was delivered to Bob Lazier, McConnell received Chassis #2. The car was discovered in storage where it had been for 4 decades. Car is in pretty good shape. Has full bodywork in excellent condition . Had the original nose ans also the updated hammerhead aero nose. Also has side pods that were added to test improvements in aerodynamics. Car qualified on the pole of the US gran prix with the side . I spoke with McConnell about the history of the car. Needs full restoration but is worth the effort. Comes with rear hubs, set of revolution wheels, trailing arms, engine subframe, calipers, original fire bottle with USAC and Bosch pro series certificate stickers, rear wing from an indy car. The Tui was one of the best looking and advanced design cars of the day and even today is a beautiful. Restore it , race it or put it together and make a wall art out of it. Car has great history and at 2500$ a deal for a significant peice of formula car history. I have more pics of the car just message me.

    Hi Keith,
I have a 1975 Lola T324, 1600 A/C engine I'd part with for what I paid for it. I bought the complete car in TX in 2018 but when I was getting it ready to race in 2019, I put fuel in and it leaked. The fuel cells in the side pods were leaking so I split the car to get to the tanks and have them out. Haven't had replacements made yet and car is still apart. It also has some spares, including a spare set of wheels, some gear sets and a nose mold.

Let me know if this is of interest.
