Up for sale is our beloved Reynard SF06 Formula Ford. We will be moving to a late model Honda FF.
This car is very well sorted and in turnkey condition. We just ran the June Sprints a few weeks ago. Car ran like a champ. 78-80 degrees water temp, 40 psi hot oil pressure on power, 20 psi hot oil pressure in the paddock.
These Reynard's are fantastic cars, and will make a perfect first step into open wheel racing.
Eligible to run either the Radial or Bias-Ply tires under the new SCCA tire rule.
Highlights:
Both the front bulkhead, rear case, and uprights are in pristine condition. There have been no weld or repairs made on these components.
3 weekends on a complete engine rebuild. SCAT Crank, uprated pistons, aluminum head. Good solid Schulz Motor. I can provide receipts.
2 weekends on a complete upgraded cooling system: New swirl pot, new Averill radiators. All new tubing. We replaced the standard 7/8" parallel system and modified it into a 1.25" series system. It works great, car is pegged at 80 degrees all session.
2 weekends on a new HP Headers Stainless Steel Exhaust
1 weekend on a new oil cooler installation
Penske 8100 Shocks
All brake and clutch hydraulics were rebuilt in 2023. 2 New wildwood LD19 front calipers.
We inspected the gearbox over the winter. Bearings were perfect, pinion was given a polish so it has quite a bit of life left on it. Has the 10/31 pinion.
Belts good through 2028
New fire bottle 2023, will need recertification after 10/2025
3 sets of wheels. Panasports, Revolutions and Compomotive
17 Gear sets (MK/9)
New Racetech Oil Pressure/Water Temp gauge
Bodywork is ok, but could use a little work. I do have an unpainted Needle Nose that is pretty cool.
Modest assortment of spare suspensions bits. 2 rockers and a couple of toe links. 1 rear support bracket. I will provide pics of these later.
