I would like a current official to jump in, but on the 2025 membership application (PDF) it says

I AM ATTENDING AS A: Driver, limited eligibility check event rules for requirements.

I would think you would want to contact the registrar for the event.

It does not say specifically road racing or autocross for example.

I wonder if is to let a NASA driver say test the waters?

Last I checked you can run regionals with a license from another recognized club on a weekend membership.

It's Majors and Supertours that require a membership and comp license.

    Rick,

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you're good to go on a weekend membership, our registration crew is always happy to help.
It looks like Rick's entry pushes the group car count over the limit so y'all get your own run group! (at the expense of the wings and things group).
The SM group is over the track car count limit so there's now a wait list.

I'm coming down to work tech on Friday. If anyone needs an annual or other tech help DM me here or send me an email and I will come to you.

    Steve

With the caveat that the supps must specify which organization's licenses, from the GCR list, will be accepted for the event.

At the risk of sounding like a nit-picking steward, the opposite is the case.

Appendix C 2.8.B lists other sanctioning bodies' licenses which "will be accepted" (emphasis added) as full competition licenses at Regionals.

GCR 3.1.2.C.3 (whew!) specifies that the supps must specify "licenses not eligible" (emphasis added) for the event.

Bottom line, unless the supps exclude a license lsited in App. C.2.8.B, you can enter a Regional on that license as long as you have SCCA membership.
