Default MN Summer Majors - BIR

Registration is open for the MN Summer Majors at Brainerd International Raceway to be held on July 26-27. There will be a Test-N-Tune Day on Friday, July 25th.

If you've never been to BIR before, it's a very fast and fun historic track. It's a large facility that has plenty of paved paddock space, electric hookups, onsite camping, etc... It's located in a popular summer lake vacation area with plenty of hotels, resorts, restaurants, etc.. nearby.

There will be a party on Saturday night with food and refreshments for drivers, crew and volunteers. Hoosier Tire Midwest will be onsite for tire service and Murray Motorsports is located a few miles from the track for any FF related parts, service and emergency repairs.

If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to contact me or Alan Murray. If you want to know the secret to going fast at BIR, contact Tazio Stefanelli, he's the current track record holder in FF.

    Hope to see you there,

BIR is a wonderful facility in a beautiful part of the country. Was only there once, to test drive an FE from Jed Copham. He even put me up in the on-site condos for the night.
Glad BIR is still going strong ever since Jed’s untimely departure from this earth.

I set the bicycle track record of 5:51 for 13 to 16 years olds, when 13.

Lovely place, saw the last Can-Am in 1972 where Donohue went off at 1 at over 200, and the first three Uncola Nationals from ‘74 to ‘76 — including the infamous semi truck race with Bob Tullius, Paul Newman, Jim Fitzgerald, and an infamous fourth driver.
Once we think we’ve mastered something, it’s over
