S2000 Roller from Vista, CA to Dana Point, CA

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone in the SoCal area has a truck and Trailer and could move a non-running S2000 from Vista to Dana Point, about 35 miles, for us. Unfortunately, we have neither Truck or trailer, but the car needs to go in to short term storage.

Just to be clear - I'm pissed. I made an offer to buy it on Sunday, full price, sight unseen, told the guy I'd be there Tuesday to pick it up. Had a Drs appt on Monday I couldn't move and I needed a flatbed since getting this "not really a roller" into my box trailer would be a pain. He told me he couldn't do a delivery until later in the week and suggested Friday. Then he listed it as pending, which I thought was for me. Then the ******* listed it as sold, didn't respond for two days, and then told me his mom had made some deal for it. I'm NOT happy.

One of these days I'd like to find an online seller on FBM that actually keeps his word. My first attempt at getting a FC went almost exactly the same way. At least this time I didn't buy airline tickets to the Midwest and take a week off work.

I'm sorry you're upset about the way this went down.

Like you, we recognized the opportunity and reached out within an hour or two of the FB post. At 7.30 on Monday morning, we were at the location and the deal was done. Full price, no haggling.

The family were all extremely gracious in what are clearly difficult circumstances.
