Default FCCS - June Sprints Roll Call

Registration has opened this week for round 2 of the Formula Continental Challenge Series at the June Sprints. With our first race at PittRace less than a month away and already shaping up to be one of the biggest FC fields in recent memory, I'm confident the June Sprints will be just as well attended, if not more. The June Sprints are one of the premier events of the year, and the added FCCS perks will make it another event you won't want to miss.

This year, FC has a unique opportunity to have a group paddock, rather than the normal assigned parking everyone else at this event will have. This paddock would be in a paved area so it will be formula car friendly. The organizers have asked that we push for early entries so they have an idea of our needs and can plan for us accordingly.

With that said, we encourage everyone that is intending on going to register early so you can help us help the organizers and make this an awesome event. Importantly, your credit card will NOT be charged until after the event, so there is no harm in signing up early. The parking cutoff is May 4th, but the more early entries we have, the better our chances of the organizers getting us good paddock spaces will be. When you register and reach the parking section, please put something to the effect of "with other FC drivers" for your preferred paddock assignment.

We are already at 7 cars entered after only a few days. Let's get those registrations in and continue to build the excitement around these events!

We currently have 17 cars registered for round #2 of the FCCS. If you missed Pitt, you won't want to miss this one.

I will add that the Chicago Region has confirmed that they will be giving all FC drivers that want to park together our own group paddock in the North Paddock (down the hill from the Gearbox). If you weren't aware, this area is being fully paved (literally as I type this) and will have its own path to the false grid, so this will be a good spot for us to be. Thank you to Pete LeSueur for going up to bat for us and making this happen. LTD will be hosting the party/prize drawings for this round.

Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or if you have any feedback on how Pitt went.

2 weeks left to register for the June Sprints. FC is currently sitting at 17 entries. We are tied with our FF friends for the largest Formula car class and have the 3rd most entries of any class. We had 19 cars last year, and it would be awesome to match or exceed that total.

And since this is an FCCS event, we will have a Saturday happy hour with food and drinks, sponsor prize drawings, photography, a group paddock, & more!
