The Norma M30 LMP3 technical specs are compelling:
FIA carbon tub and frontal crush structure, 5.0 liter 420HP/530NM torque Nissan VK50 V8, 6 Speed sequential XTrac transaxle, Megaline paddle shift, underslung AP 6 piston calipers, shim-adjustable pushrods and toe blocks, torsion bar front suspension with 3rd element, coil spring rear with 3rd element, Ohlins TTX shocks, cockpit-adjustable power steering, airjacks, dry break fueling, internally shrouded wheels/brakes, carbon/kevlar bodywork, substantial downforce, and parts supply supported by a North American distributor together with Duqueine manufacturing and tech support.
This particular M30, chassis #34, is the 2019 IMSA Sebring and VIR Prototype Challenge race and Mosport pole winner with Steven McAleer and Robillard/Mühlner Motorsport.
An extremely clean low time chassis with VK50 power, this car enjoys the broadest eligibility of all LMP3 variants; including Masters Endurance, HSR, SVRA, SCCA, NASA, etc., etc.. – It is a highly optioned pro car with TPMS, dual rearview camera/screen, Smartycam, Motec L120 (configured by Veracity via CAN bus), 4 shock pots, wired for radios, Cosworth wheel/dash, and newly updated D08 front 3rd element for pitch and heave control.
I bought the car in 2023 with ~3K KMs reported on the motor and have added 566 testing KMs during my ownership. 10,000 KMs is the recommended duty cycle for these engines but plenty have been run longer. The car has always performed perfectly in my tenure, and it is a joy to drive in all its rip-snorting V8 glory.
The spares package includes 2 additional sets of OZ magnesium wheels, mounted Michelin rains, unmounted sticker Michelin rains, 900#, 1000#, 1200#, 1300# rear suspension spring pairs (mostly new), additional front 3rd element assembly and new high rate spring, full set of rear wing angle inserts, suspension shims, alternate tall/broad shoulder carbon seat shell and headrest, full car set of new Pagid brake pads, CV boots, Sachs triple plate clutch, AP slave cylinder, flywheel, crank sensor, wheel nuts, oil cooler, oil filter, rad cap, and factory oil dipstick/specialty tools. Data cables, beacon, and complete factory manual and tech advisory docs are also included.
Support equipment (all as new) includes 3 billet airjack skates, Krontec airjack wand and hose, wheel socket, 4 A frame high hubstands, custom lifting bar, 4 brake bleeding armatures, an extensive range of brand new spherical bearings with removal and staking tools, Motorola radios, 12 wheel transport rings, and Staubli drybreak pump out hose. An ATL dump churn with new drybreak is also available.
