Default FF Majors entries more than double 2024

    Team,

Just thought you'd like to know that so far in 2025 SCCA Majors entries for FF are up by more than double the 2024 numbers. Ten races in it looks like it will be 55 vs 25 (up by 120%).

Note: I'm looking ahead at entries through the May 3-4 weekend. Might be jumping the gun a bit if someone drops out - or maybe more will still register and make it even better.

Not trying to start a big discussion, just celebrating the energy that is going into the SCCA's contribution to the most popular road racing class in the world - FF.
    Thanks,

    Tony Stefanelli

Man, that’s *a lot* of gain in just a few months, Congrats on the effort!

Couldn’t happen to a better class, nor a nicer guy.

    Default FF growth/June Sprints

The growth statistics are very exciting. The energy generated is attracting new racers. In the last two days I have had 2 great conversations with different young racers wanting to get into Formula F racing and looking for advice. In both cases I was able to pair them up with experienced racers in their area with a goal of opening doors for their dream.

FWIW, the small open wheel group at the June Sprints is the largest run group other than the 41 car SRF3 field! Currently we have 9 FF and expect more - my personal goal is 15 FF for the June Sprints. Remember that the move to a one race June Sprint format has been controversial and specifically benefits the small open wheel group.

Showing up is the best way we can show our support for the opportunity. We have multiple drivers available to offer first timer advice/help/support as needed. Hit me up if you want me to connect you to a FF mentor/buddy for the June Sprints 2025.
