Default Gsxd-1000 driveshaft adapter and clutch help.

My google fu has failed. While I have seen some modified k5 clutch covers and a cable clutch. Has anyone fit a driveshaft on a k7 or later with the hydraulic clutch? Seems to be a popular engine for dwarf and mod-light guys. What is the clutch solution here?

    Default clutch

There were a couple years of GSXR1000 that use a hydraulic clutch, and if thats what you're looking for I'd think a quick search on fleabay would find one. I probably have a clutch slave mount and cylinder kicking around if you can't find any. As an option, you can use a push/pull cylinder and make an adaptor for the fixed end fairly easily. That way you can use the cable actuated lever.

As for the drive shaft adaptor, hawk comes to mind. I just use a chain on mine so no need for an adaptor.

I think the K5 is the 05-06 GSXR. I used an 07-08 slave on mine and was able to make it hydro.

There are a lot of drive shaft adaption kits but you have to have the engine sideways otherwise there is a company that makes rock crawlers that sells a conversion kit but cant remember the name.

do you have a photo of yours where the driveshaft comes out? I have the 07 cover with slave but the banjo bolt would hit where the driveshaft goes.

PM me your email or phone number and I'll send you a picture of mine. The banjo points forward so its not in the way. The bleeder valve should point up.
