    Default FREE: '93 VD frame

I've got a '93 Van Diemen frame just chilling in my garage. I saved it from the scrap yard and had plan to use it for another purpose. That's unlikely to happen and if someone wants it to use it and save it from the scrap pile its yours. I will not ship it though. Gotta come to pick it up. Located in the Detroit metro area.

The frame came from an FC that was written off at Watkins Glen a few years ago. It took all the corners off the car, but the frame looks to have almost no damage. At best one of the side tubes may have been hit, but I'm not sure if that was from this incident or another.

    PM if interested.

    Default Bump

Wanted to highlight this for anyone even remotely interested in it. I've had to move it outside to make room for something with fenders. Its under a tarp but its Michigan and its snowy/wet right now. I'll help transport it as long as its local (to a local shop to keep it warm, a friend's, etc).

Would have happily turned your lawn art into my lawn art if you were closer! Best of luck on finding it a new home.

Post a few pictures to wet our appetite.
Is it just a tube-frame or does it have a floor panel?
Has crash damage shrunk the available cockpit space?
What's the biggest known driver to sit in it?
Any worn out body panels to go with it?

I don't have any pictures handy but next time I get an opportunity I can grab some.

Floor is still attached, has the starter and button panel, I believe the steering shaft is still present, has the seat/fuel cell cover, battery mount is attached, has the shifter handle and rod back to the first u joint.

The cockpit shape and size has not been affected by any crash damage. The one tube that is damaged is relatively minor and I'm not convinced its even from this crash.

Its a 93 so driver size should be common to all 93s. I have no clue what that range is.

    No body panels
