Just doing a survey. Does anyone have any idea how many Honda powered cars there are in FF? How many are racing in each region?

The guys that bought the IP from Honda to continue supplying parts may have been given some data on how many conversion kits Honda produced. Might be a start.

Race prep, support, and engineering.
To the best of our knowledge there were over 100 kits sold. Doug Learned (Fast Forward) stepped in when HPD abruptly decided to abandon the program. HPD was not helpful in transferring, by sale or otherwise, the IP that pertained to the engine kits. What could have been straightforward was anything but. Doug and his son Doug Jr. spent countless painstaking hours measuring the critical components and then manufacturing those items to keep the class and Honda Fit powered cars on track. Without their assistance and willingness to take on this project, FF would be in a very precarious position. I am most certain that willingness comes from their many years of involvement with SCCA and FF not the profitability of this program.
Roland, the 230 members of the Formula F/1600 USA FaceBook page have been networking to put a registry together the month or so. So far we have 70 Honda owners on the list, plus 82 Kent's.
I have no doubt that John LaRue is far ahead of the registry in knowing the right number - just wanted you to know that we're trying to build a registry of all FF's in the US.
Can we add you to the registry?
Good luck with whatever mission your on.

Of course. I have a 1967 Lotus 51. Chassis #51A-95 This car won the first SCCA Formula Ford Race in the U.S. at Willow Springs in 1969. I also have a Crossle 32 with no Chassis plate (very common) with period correct custom bodywork. It was imported from the UK 1989/1990 earliest SCCA logbook issued March, 1990. I have a Titan Mk-6 AM70/82 belonging to Dan Cowdrey. I aso have a DB1 Swift #01-288 belonging to Kim Tjong in my shop that is currently for sale.
