Default Mychron3 CDS GPS-2 set up

I'm looking to add a CDS GPS-2 sensor to my Mychron3 XG Log - can anyone share how to set it up? cables needed, any AIM adjustments - generally how to set up. Thanks!

    Matt Romanowski is your guy.

It would have likely cut into their sales, but it seems to me that someone with knowledge of the AIM software (or the ability to suck it out of the box and de-compile it) could have written a firmware update to use a GPS sensor - even AIMs - in the track beacon port. Could have made the older systems useable with the new analysis software too.

Do you know what type of signal the aim beacon sensor puts out? I believe The CDS sensor just outputs a +5V blip when you go by the virtual gps start/finish line.

I don't have anything that old. Depending on the car, there is a lot to gain from updating the M3 to a newer unit, but it would be more than finding a CDS GPS (if you can). Let me know if I can help with anything AiM.
