For sale is my freshly rebuilt Kent 711M, built by John Bulzacchelli (Advanced Automotive, Carmel NY). John built FF engines in the 90s while racing his own FF and is an experienced engine builder (building several race engines/ year). This engine was blueprinted and built to the current SCCA regulations (everything that can be done is done with exception of an aluminum head). Likely the fastest SCCA legal 711M that you could buy. Every gasket and bearing on this motor is new, crank has been inspected and polished, new .005” oversized CP, Genuine Ivey pistons and rings, new piston pins and retainers, new stock camshaft, all new camshaft followers, new valves and guides as well as Ivey springs, new crankshaft scraper, new fuel pump, Spiro ignition wires, new spark plugs, etc. Every step of the rebuild has been done in the best way possible and I would be happy to answer any questions, provide more photos, as well as share the contact info of the builder with anyone who is seriously interested.
The carburetor has also been blueprinted (although I don't by who) and has been recently serviced. It also has a new PiperCross air filter and a new fuel sample port installed.
Engine is set up with Van Diemen Dry Sump.
The flywheel has been freshly machined and resurfaced and the clutch is a new Tilton OT-2 with the F3/OT-2 disc.
This package also includes the Tilton Super starter (which is also freshly rebuilt) as well as the Fireball XR700 ignition kit (known for its exceptional reliability) and a Bosch blue ignition coil. The distributor has a new seal, cap and rotor.
Also included is a new exhaust manifold gasket and some spare distributor parts as well as an oil filter and the home-made engine stands shown in the photos.
