not raced for 5 years/covid/health,frame off refurb,penske shocks Ivey engine,Dunlop tyres very good, rad resoldered,extra body parts, extra suspension pieces extra set rims 2 steering wheels ,ran it once last year everything worked well just not the driver.

Do you know who was its original owner?

Does it, per chance, have a short length of square tubing added to prevent front bottom-out, roughly welded under the front of the frame???

no there is no sq tube,been in Canada since 1973/4

I don't understand. It has a set of Penskes AND an Ivey. Assuming that the IVEY is in good shape (an approximate # of hours or events on it since fresh would help the cause), you are getting the rest of a fresh DL2 for.....almost nothing? Is it the Canadian location thing (Welland is a stone's throw from Buffalo)? Because how to come and get it is well documented on this site and not difficult.....

That is the car Ross Smith campaigned for years here in Ontario. It was maintained by Brian Stewart and just a few years ago had a very fresh Ivey installed. It is a very strong Ivey, one I would want in my latest FF for the run offs kinda good. I wondered where that car went, I am knee deep into another Crossle restoration or I would go grab this car. Perfect for VFF, could win anywhere. And priced well below what it is worth in my opinion. Good luck with the sale, it is going to be a great deal for someone. One more thing, I believe Ross was the only owner of the car, ever.

Ross was the second owner, he purchased it from Higgs Murphy. The car has a cool history.
