They're dope and have the correct number of shocks.

That's all I have, but this thread had some neat brochures buried in it.

A minor consideration is that the doubled roll hoop looks unusually strong compared to other FFs.

I went up to midland on Tuesday (you can't get there from here). Looked over this lovely white car and really wanted to buy it. I was not able to get in or out because of my muscular torso .

So I bought his black vector.

It is a beautiful car too but not as well prepared as the swift. It starts right up and idles smoothly. It has no mufflers though so I'll have to do something there.

It is set up for road racing so I'll have to change some gears. I have ordered the integral first gear shaft from Keith. I got it off the truck with with the help of my lovely wife. I have looked it over and will do more tomorrow. I am optomistically hoping to run at Grissom on Sunday. It has a mono shock on the front so that is a bit intimidating.

I also looked at the driver fitment. It is tight especially in the foot box. I am hoping to make it comfortable for me. It is tall in the driver area and I am hoping i can free up some foot space by building up the seat area maybe 2"?

It is exciting to think of running a FF again.

Once it is mechanically sound I am itching to spread some safety orange around on the outside of it.

Most of all I need a book on it....anybody who can help me with that?

    Tom

    Need I say Woo hooo!

As Tom indicated, he traveled to look over / purchase the DB1 I have for sale but passed after not fitting into it.

The Vector I had purchased as a winter project / Club Racing car was sitting beside the Swift. Tom fit in the Vector so we negotiated a deal on this car instead.

At 51 days in my possession, it's the shortest I have ever owned a race car. It's a cool car but the timing was right for both Tom and I...

Chris, are you going to set up the Swift for club racing?

At this point, no; I will continue to Solo the DB1 until it sells. Then decide "what's next"...
