I am trying to contact Hytech exhaust and I am not getting email replies, and no answers when calling and no voicemail.
Is John okay? I have been trying to contact him regarding my order for at least three weeks now.

Looking back though my emails to him I’m coming up on 14 months trying to buy a set of headers. I’m assuming he’s out of business or scaled back. I’ve given up. Any replies I received have been reasons why he’s not been able to get to them but will start in the next week or so. As I say this has been going on for well over a year. Fortunately I now have an alternative.
I have a set of their headers for a RF97 on my RF94, which took some ugly modifications. Planning on running Laguna, I wanted a replacement tailpipe section that I could graft a Phase 9 muffler onto.
I was surprised that they didn't have a drawing that they could produce a part to. I would need to send the old pipe to them to be copied. Now I'm betting that the 97 design carried over into all the late-model chassis for pintos and they probably made at least 75 sets - but no drawings? How does a modern company do that? I'm assuming no tooling as well.
I suppose they could have disposed of the stuff if the demand wasn't there.
He told me that they were switching dies on their bending machine so now would be a good time. I can't believe that switching dies would be that big of a deal.
I'll probably end up buying bends from Burns and frankenwelding it all together.
This guy was wonderful to work with if you want mandrel bends and collectors.

he’s in socal.
I had issues with this guy in the past. It took him a year and a half to do a simple repair and I promised myself that I’d never do business with him again. Try Greg Welsh in Kansas City. In a head to head dyno test, Greg’s header produced more horsepower. He’s a joy to work with too.

Imagine waiting 6 months for a "part" and getting stroked month after month and then receiving that part one day after you absolutely had to ship the car the day before with a "part" that you had to pull out of your junk pile and then getting called a miserable human being that the world doesn't revolve around when you email the supplier that you were disappointed with their service.
You'd probably never use that "part" supplier again even if your life depended on it.
