Racing and track events before spring?

New to PFM, what racing or track day events are there before Spring?

very few "track day" organizations will accept your open wheel car.

look on scca.com and drivenasa.com for event schedules
will be very few up north at this time of year though

I thought NASA did not allow open wheel? Do you know of a region where it is allowed?
