Thank you for the response so far. I am happy to see these items coming "out of retirement", and returning to the work for which they were designed.

We had what sounded like a firm commitment on the Longacre SCALES, but they are back and STILL AVAILABLE.

If you are in the Westfalia of Pennsylvania, or the Westfalia of California, or in the continental USA, I would be happy to send the durometer and tire depth gauge to you. Unlike most of the remaining items, the package would be light weight, and small dimensions

I can also snap a couple of digital photos and eMail those if you like. Or just send a private message with your telephone number, and I'll call you, and tell you anything you might like to know about the gauges.

After receiving several inquiries about the larger / heavier shop equipment, if the buyer wants, I will HOLD items until mid-October.

We'll ask for a prior firm commitment, and will place whatever items you like ON HOLD until you are able to pick them up.

You may pick items up at any time in Rochester, NY. We can also deliver to the Watkins Glen races on 3 consecutive weekends in September by prior arrangement..

Price for scales?

Need to replace a set that was stolen with my car/trailer

No racer deserves what has happened to you. I hope that you and your fellow drivers are doing everything possible to recover your car/equipment, and to bring the thief (thieves) to justice!

I do thank you for your inquiry about the Longacre Scales. They have just been sold. Not that it is any consolation, but the cost of shipping these coast-to-coast would have been a deal-breaker.

If I remember correctly, there is another set for sale on the forum here, and also fairly inexpensively, in the FOR SALE : Open Classifieds..

Thanks for the reply and thoughts. I do have an awesome local racing community that is doing all they can to support us. My fab shop (who owned the trailer) has stepped up and is offering a lot of help getting my replacement car ready.

If we don’t replace the scales soon it looks like I will have to finish my Arduino based scale system I started last year. I really just have to finish the connecting cables and calibrate them.
