    Default Vintage Vee Weight

Curious if anyone has gotten a Lynx B down to the monoposto weight of 825 lbs? Ours with a lithium battery and light starter is 887 lbs.

My LynxB has scaled at 868 lbs with a couple of gallons of gas. It's got a lightweight starter, rims, and lithium battery.

I ran a Lynx B (Z-bar) in the SCCA in the 1980's, before we ran the combined weight.

    Remember, that was before the:
    1. Front roll hoop
    2. Fire System
    3. Fuel Cell
    4. Side protection

and I don't know how the Hoosier Vintage tires compare to the paper thin Goodyear's of that time.

So if your club requires these safety improvements, it might be impossible to get to that weight......
