I always enjoyed his insightful stories around IndyCar particularly when he got a scoop. Clip the apex on the way through the pearly gates Robin you will be missed!

    RIP

At 47 I’m realizing “midlife crisis” isn’t so much about mid-life but about losing many of your heroes and folks you admire. Between racers and related and rock stars, I’m losing many…

Only met Robin once while we were using side by side urinals off the interview room after a race at Cleveland in 2005 or so. Had a nice chat about my race. Always enjoyed his columns over the years. God speed RM.

    That’s really, genuinely sad.

It took me a while to warm up and “get” Robin, but I soon did and loved the guy.

As EricP said, I’m 61, around this sport since 3, and dreading the constant onslaught of heroic loss starting of late — in racing, music, sports, etc. Not going to be fun.

RIP Robin, and thanks for both the laughs and especially the insights.

I got to know of Robin Miller after discovering and loving the old WindTunnel program with Dave Despain which ran 2003 to 2013. Robin's segments ALWAYS knocked your socks off. One cool dude.

    Default RIP Robin

My Wednesday morning ritual just changed. Will miss his insight that was straight to the point and without all the political correctness we are constantly forced to endure. An original for sure, godspeed Robin.

A great loss of a true Icon. Not many left who tell it like they see it and let things fall where they may.

A loss to the entire motorsports community - Robin was a original and has yet to imitated or copied. Race On Robin!

Not sure when this was, but posted a week ago.

We can all only hope to go out with such appreciation for our life:
