    Default Brian Robertson ?

Does anyone know if Brian Robertson is still with us ?

Brian was in charge at Fred Opert Racing Canada in the early 1970's, and a more than decent race driver.

He won the Canadian Formula B Championship in 1972 after being runner up in 1971.

Following a huge accident in SE Asia late in 1973 his driving career ended.

Brian won a lot of Canadian Formula B races in the early 1970's just before F Atlantic began in 1975 in Canada and Gilles Villeneuves appearance.

I have come up empty handed asking numerous knowledgeable Canadian racers, but someone somewhere must know if Brian remains upright.....

Still alive and kicking in Santa Barbara near his daughter. Went to a Laguna race last year after an invite from Dave McMillan who talks to him regularly. Mike if you need contact details I can get them.

Spotted the best Atlantic rig in the day, ice cream white, off the hwy Mtl-3R early 90's. Brian was in a phone booth on the shoulder. No cell phones back then. Top notch in the eyes of us Formula Ford 1600 minions and then some.

Maybe I can buy him a beer and he can coach me since he's in town.
