Default FS: Alexis Rear Upright Castings

    Hi all,

I own the pattern for the Alexis rear upright, a really well-designed, symmetrical rear upright for the Mk14, Mk15 and Mk18, though it can be machined to work for a variety of applications, and to accept whatever bearings suit your needs.

I'm about have a run done at a local foundry in aluminum and wanted to offer fresh, un-machined castings to whoever might be interested. Here is the pattern and a casting, for reference:

The castings should take 4-6 weeks. Price per piece is $300 + shipping.

Let me know if you're interested, I want to get a run started next week.

    Best,
    Matt

    Default Question

It looks like you are pouring those with no cores in the top or bottom legs, yet there are windows for cores. Why?
    Just curious.
