This car has changed hands here a couple of times (photo from when I acquired it):

This is the Scott Livingston car (3rd @ '87 runoffs) and has a pretty decent spares package including billet uprights, spares for most every control arm (plus jigs), complete spare rear wing assembly, spare front wings, spare nose (plus mold), and as with every car, lots of misc, but in this case, pretty good hardware. There are three sets of wheels with the car.
Since acquiring it I have:
Had new front lower control arms built (including a spare)
Had a new fuel cell built (never had fuel in it yet)
Engine freshened locally (new rod/main bearings, fresh hone/rings) - not yet fired, original builder unknown
Replaced /reassembled much of the car with the correct hardware (car was more or less pinned together when I got it)
Rewired car, new gauges, dash assembly not complete
The car's major needs remaining are having the hydraulics gone through, seat made, belts and an updated fire system installed. The carb on the engine is not a "prepped" carb, but I have one that still needs to be jetted for the car.
There are a few other JM17's around, this one retains the original front suspension steering arrangement. Others I have seen have a revised front suspension resulting in a bit longer wheelbase and have had the steering rack relocated forward. That may or may not be be an advantage, but "full disclosure".
Time spent with various crapcan endurance series and my son's FF projects = (very) slow progress on this car. Having the space in the garage back would be nice for a "tin top" project that shares that space and a pending construction project at my house would make having some additional free space a bit more comfortable.
Will try to get some current photos this weekend and add a link to the ad.
$8500 (my cost of the car and parts acquired)
