    For Sale 1969 Macon MR 7 VFF or HFF, s/n 107 with tons of spares

    1969 Macon MR7 for sale. Built 04/08/1969 Monoposto legal. Health issues have greatly reduced my event participation over the last two years. Last raced at Indy 2019 with rebuilt 711M block with one event. Featuring strong running motor with 10/10 race prepped crank, Swain coated bearings, Scat rods, Carillo Swain coated pistons, balanced, Ivey cast iron head/ prepped by Ivey in(2019) ARP hardware throughout, Quartermaster 7.25 clutch. rebuilt 5 port oil pump.

    The Macon is extremely dependable, only 1 DNS in 5 years. Comes with SVRA and VRG log books dating from the 90's. The car is not a trailer queen but it has been maintained professionally and personally the last 5 years.

    Hard wired transponder
    Re valved steel body shocks by Anze Suspension in 2018
    Weller steel wheels, 2 sets
    Varley Red top battery 2019 and Varley battery charger
    Schroth FIA Formula belts date code 2023
    Axle savers and new donuts fall of 2018
    Tilton Super starter

    SPARES included in the sale include but are not limited to:
    Complete spare motor with 0 hours, 2737 block Std/Std Ford crank, balanced rotating assembly,Swain coated bearings, Ford race prepped rods, built using Jake's book. Has a national cast iron head stamped BL028, lightened flywheel with new Tilton 7.25 clutch. Complete carb to clutch.
    13 sets of gears, 17 total sets including those in the car
    7 dog rings
    New rear upright, never drilled or fit
    Steering rack
    New Front spindle
    New motor mount, never drilled.
    Second set of Weller wheels
    Set of new donuts
    2 sets of new ignition wires
    32/36 race prepped carb
    10/10 FoMoCo crank
    2 Working starters
    New Petronix II igniters (2)
    New Petronix coils (2)
    New Slave cylinder
    Spare 711M block needs to be re sleeved
    Prepped MK8/9 transmission case with annular throw out assembled
    Enough track spares to keep you running for a couple of years (plugs, throttle cable, distributors, fuel pump, water pump, gaskets, Weber parts)

    That is an attractive FF. Completely unfamiliar with it. But, I like what I see.

    Default this is a very nice looking machine !

    i got to drive one at Nelson Ledges on a half damp track with standing puddles (ages ago)

    using only three gears i matched my best times in my Hawke DL 2A

    that car was owned and modified by Dan Pyanowski (a lifetime friend)

    he coulda, shoulda been an INDY or F1 engineer !

    ANYWAY this could be a GREAT CAR !
