I have raced against this car. It is very clean and fast!
Just a lot of stains....No computers, no anti skid brakes, no sissy traction control.
love the clutch master cylinder.
Gents;
What model was it? Price?

If my addled memory serves me it was a Lola 332.
Advert no longer loads from this thread.
Go to Phoenix Craigslist cars and trucks and put Lola or F5000 into search at top of page.
One of the most beautiful styles of car ever (in my maybe not so humble opinion). Just added a couple of photos so people know what they are going to search for on the Phoenix Craigslist site.
Here's a side view that shows just how small the front of the T332's tub was. The T332 chassis was of course the basis for various Can-Am cars, including the T333CS, Herb Caplan's Prophet, the Frisbee, and Newman-Freeman's Spyder NF-10 and NF-11. Keke Rosberg drove the NF-11 in the 1979 Can-Am series, and in a later MotorSport interview Nigel Roebuck asked him, "And did you like the cars?" Keke's response: "Oh, they were ****boxes – but they were quick! And they sounded great. They were men’s cars. We went to some great circuits – Elkhart Lake, Riverside, Watkins Glen and so on – that were incredibly dangerous but wonderful to drive on. And the cars themselves were lethal, with that great V8 lump in the back and just a little tub at the front."
Asking $169,000 for it.
Hybels
Don't even think about it....
Its just a little running joke that Richard and I have about buying toys. The fact is if I had the cash around I would buy it in a second. I have always loved those cars.

Your opinion is shared by this writer! I think it is the sexiest formula car ever built. Late 80's Honda/McLaren's come close.
When my Lola T340 FF sleeps at night, it dreams of being a T332.
This model and the earlier T300 introduced the term "the Lola limp" to drivers vocabulary.
Great thing about these cars is the Chevy or Ford V8 motors. You can spend a lot for a real whiz bang motor or you can spend reasonably little depending on the performance level you want and still go damn fast. There are so many variations available and price points for parts that it makes it a class far more affordable than a DFV or even a BDA !
It's still being listed on the UK site; racecarsdirect.com

Is the chassis top rails bent mild steel sheet metal, same same the T440, or rectangular mild steel tubing?
That's a very nice looking t340 as well!!!
I lust for the Lola T332 as well, very sexy car. If only I had;
the money
could fit
had a crew to help at the track
could reinforce the foot box so I wouldn't end up with the Lola Limp
Aw what am I saying I still want one;-)
I owned three different F-5000 cars back in the day....Lola T-190, March 73a, Lola T-332, and like everyone else we sold them, almost gave them away. I would love to have any one of them.

Back then they were just old race cars. Shame those that owned did not know how valuable they would beocme. I wish I had my Lola Super Vee back for what I sold it for.
The best/worst part of this whole deal with the combination of it all, old age and now old cars, is that walking the paddocks and seeing the cars us oldies believe are still current! Sold for a pittance, Lotus 51 ( worst part traded a 63 split window for it) , BT16 F3 car w/double downdraft Holbay/ 6 speed, BT29 Twincam and FVC, Can Am cars, March 802, and RT4 FA! Now March 87B BMW V12 probably until I'm done!
