I'm trying to track down a Z16. It was driven in Canada by Scott Maxwell in 1984(?), prepared by Brian Stewart. I believe Scott won the Canadian championship with the car over Paul Tracy, who was running a RF83 I believe. That's all the info I have on it so far, thought it might fall in to the Famous FF category...definitely famous north of the boarder!

Scott won the Ontario title in 85 over Tracy who was in a RF85 run by Colin Hine Racing. Scott then ran and won the Canadian Run Offs in a DB1. Not sure where the car went, I had a Z16 that went to Colorado.
Brian.
How about this one. 97 / 98 Van Diemen FF that Jon Horgas ran.
I posted a note earlier about looking for bodywork for my Tiga FFA77; it relates to this thread because it was Bob Lobenberg's first race car. I confirmed this with him soon after I bought it when I read a race report from Formula Magazine that mentioned him racing an orange Tiga, and the car shows orange underneath. He then told me that he sold it to John Della Penna, IndyCar team owner. (Della Penna's brother, don't know his first name) saw the car at Laguna Seca once when I was running it there, and told me about the too-thick front swaybar they had put on it and was still there. (Which explained the handling issue I was having with it at the time.)
I plan to use the car's connection to Bob when I apply to the Rolex Reunion next year. I've thought about getting in touch with Bob to see if he might want to drive the car again, but it's my? car and he was hard on equipment as I remember...
After selling him in 2013 to fund my Piper DL7 project, Sluggo is back in my possession. Albeit not in complete form, and merely hanging in my rafters at the moment... I have the chassis, all the special bits we developed while I owned the car (late 2005-summer 2013), and I have slowly been amassing the bits and pieces to put him back together.
Regretfully though, it won’t be complete for a few years as I still work with a fairly restricted budget. My plan is to try to put it as Horgas ran it; bright yellow with Tru-Bore sponsorship. I still have the yellow tail fin. I guess I better try to find a set of Techno’s..

I can send you a paint sample off some of the old body work if you need one.
That would be awesome Joe, thanks! I’ll pm you my address. Do you have any better pictures of that unique air intake? When I got the car in 2005 it had a standard Pennon tail and airbox so I’ve never seen that airbox in person.

Well, I’ve got the Crossle 45F I’ll be running at the Crossflow Cup races, I’m supposed to be in Phil Reilly’s BT44 for a couple of the Masters F1 races, I’m lined up to run Cory Muensterman’s 320i Turbo at Monterey, plus a few more offers, so it’s not like you won’t see me on track. Just not in a RF97k this year!

Mike Hull's ADF chassis number seven resides with Neil Porter.
Hybels
I own the 1981 Van Diemen that Mike Andretti ran at the Runoffs.
The car actually won more than one national championship, Bruce May won at Mid Ohio in the same chassis. I believe Doc restored the car.
Anybody know the whereabouts of Weichman's ADF.? At some point, I owned Harrell's Titan Mk 6A but sold it locally in Michigan and have no clue where it ended up,
Frank
