    Jim and all,

I have been in contact with Susan and she says she is willing to sell. Three others have contacted me about the car. I have told them that she as said this before and didn't follow through. The car has a lot a sentimental value to her.

I'll get back to you and the others who have inquired in a few days. I'm getting ready for prostate surgery early tomorrow. Yeah, I'm a guy.

In fact, Earl Jones won the 1965 ARRC Formula Race in a LeGrand Mk.3B with an Alfa Romeo engine. That was the first year of the new SCCA Formula line-up A, B, C, so there was a benefit to being ready early, but there were several Ford-powered cars in the Runoff race, so the Alfa must have been fully competitive, at least at that time.

Otoh, Earl Jones won the FB division at the Continental Divide "pro" race in May 1965 in a Brabham BT2 with Ford power, he was just a really fast driver.

For those who may not know, there are many many race results from that period on oldracingcars.com - don't even start unless you're prepared to spend lots of time!
