I got a picture of a "new" MK9 on a Hewland shippping box (Has external slave)Then I asked to see pictures of front and back more detailed and one with piece of paper with my name on it...I got front and back pictures (now trans has annular slave!) and neither picture had my name...He also said trans was out of a Merlyn 11a (which in picture it was) and he was building a MK8 with MK5 internals and did not need this one.
He is just knowledgable enough (thanks to Google) to just make one believe its a good deal.
Once asked to see picture with paper/my name again and reasons for the slave cylinder differences...no more contact from him.

If you Google his name, he is a scammer on Porsche forum, Ferrari forum, and Lotus forums.

This should come as a surprise to exactly NO ONE. That address doesn't exist. There's a 3027 (Ramon Franklin, LLC | Premium Commercial & Industrial Roofing | Sheet Metal | Metal Composite), and then a house at 3033. NO 3031.
