    Default 2.0L Pinto Water Pump

Does anyone have a photo of the front of the 2.0L motor while it is out of the car? I have a nagging little water drip that I looking to tackle. I thought the radiator might have had a vibration hole in the bottom. But now that it is out of the car, I have inspected it and don't think it is the cause. There is some residue of water drips on front of engine and my next suspect is the pump. I am planning to pull the pump but, would just like to see what the front of motor looks like with pump on or off. I just can't get my head in the car to get a good look at this thing !!

I thought there were 4 places to screw into. The pump that is on this motor is NOT what is on Pegasus. Have a look at the photos. I stuck the camera into the car as best I could and I think these photos reveal where the leak is. You can see where water has weeped out and dripped down on one side of the pump.

Anyone recognize this pump? Know the reason water would be coming out of this hole? If it is time for a new pump... no problem. But, what pump is this?

Pump seal is toast. Replace the pump.

    Bingo!

The pump on your car appears to be the stock Ford part, but the pulley is different. Those are easy to press on/off at replacement. That one you have is at least the 5th different water pump pulley I've seen.

Thank you for pointing me in the direction of Dave Bean! So nice to get someone on the phone that was concerned to ensure they were sending me the right parts. Will absolutely call these guys again when they are a supplier of a part that I need.
