The Tinman was built by Jim Fleishman(sp?) in the New England area. It was a lay down Caldwell type car, original rear rollhoop is where the headrest is, had a wedge like body with a roof and side windows, knees would poke out of the bodywork about where the steering wheel is, rear body was just an arc where the fan would be and the strap back to the end of the tall pipe . Looks like he added the taller hoop and the braces, the zero roll is not the original set up.
Hard to tell by the pictures, that this used to be a national race winner!
Chris Schneider was super fast with this car.
Time to buy it back!
Done with vees, more interested in hillclimb specials and pavement micro sprints and 3/4 midgets.
