    Default Throttle body

When the throttle is wide open does the stop go all the way to the cast piece? I noticed on a couple of Fit powered cars today that it did not quite touch the cast piece. I hope I made it clear what I'm talking about

They recommend a clearance of about .030" at the stop. They want the cable travel stopped at the pedal, not at the throttle body.

Thanks Mike. Just happens to be your old car I'm talking about. I'll pass that on to Chuck.
BTW he was on pole this weekend but had the gearing off a bit and was on the limiter on the front straight well before the corner so the number two man was able to beat him into two. I was only there for. yesterday's race which was wild. Four or five double yellows and probably a half dozen cars towed in.
Horn was off track a few times but did manage to have fasted lap but came in third or fourth. Ethan Shippert jumped in a DB6 Honda that he did not qualify for the race and after starting p14 nipped Thomas Merrill right at the flag for the win.

Ford Motorsport recommends a 1/2" gap at the stop.

Cool. I miss that car, especially after this past weekend. The maiden voyage in my Spectrum is still a work in progress. Very different car from the Swift.
