1980 Lola T590 Sports 2000

This is a complete, original and unmolested car. It has not been cut up or modified. The car currently has a tall-man roll hoop but comes with the original roll hoop along with the technical drawings and specs to reproduce the roll bar cover. (this is the only year that this cover is a"legal" for use) Included in the sale is a complete set of body molds for the car; nose, tail, sides and cockpit. Spares include miscellaneous suspension bits and 3 additional sets of original uprights which fit the 492 through the 592. For a true period correct car these are a must and becoming quite rare. The car sits on its original Bilsteins, but comes with a correct set of Koni 8211 shocks. Our intention was to perform a ground up restoration to the car, but another opportunity has presented itself and we must move on. The car is five to six "weekend" projects away from getting on to the race track as it sits, but as stated above we planned a comprehensive restoration. This is a great opportunity to get into a vintage Lola and the rapidly growing vintage S2 class, but most importantly this one comes with a chassis tag and log book.
