    Default Elden FF

1972 Elden Mk 8/10A. Originally Falconer bodied. Radiators moved to sides and nose narrowed in period. First issue SCCA logbook and Elden sales brochure.
Car sat for many years. Just completed recommissioning for track day use. Dyno time engine, transaxel inspected, hydralic systems rebuild with new parts including pistons in calipers; suspension blasted, repainted and assembled with new joints as needed; full aliignment including front and rear bumpsteer and corner weights set. Has new (March) Kevlar seat, coated header, rebuilt starter, Odessy battery, good Dunlop treads on Weller wheels, original (built for car) lightweight single axel trailer (tows well, badly needs paint).
Track ready. To pass tech for sanctioned event will require new fire bottle and a fuel bladder (original aluminum tank fitted).
    $8.5K Scott Livingston, St Louis. (314) 750-0231 or Marchracer@hotmail.com.

    MarchRacer,

Nice looking FF! Didn't the Elden Falconer bodywork have a sportscar nose with radiators up in the nose similiar to the 71'/72' F-1 Brabham?

    GLWS!

    Default falconer body

    Mark,
You are correct. The info I got with the car does not say when the modification was done, but I suspect the guy who did it was looking at an ADF, and that the change probably made this car a little quicker.

does anyone know if anybody reconfigured one of these cars with the suspension links (front a-arms) flipped to lengthen the wheelbase?

    Default price reduction

Price reduced to $8500. Have line on original spec Falconer nose and sidepods if someone wants to convert it back.

I've known this car since the late 1980s as the prior owner was a friend of mine. I had looked at it before Scott bought it late last year and it is very straight. Looked through the log book and documentation at that time as well and it is all there.

If someone is looking for a good starting point for a Falconer Elden restoration this would be a fine candidate.
