    Default smith

depends on model and condition. Chronometric?, turning right or left, dial, if you send me a picture I can give you an estimate.

    Default Tach value

A 0-8k tach with tell-tale (0@5:00, 8k@2:00,and clockwise rotation) will be from 400USD to 750USD depending on condition . Unknowns or tested units with drill bring 375USD to 500USD on eBay while same in restored condition from Nisonger bring more to the 750USD area,so if you can find one less than 250USD ..buy it!!!! Same tach with tell-tale 0-12k bring 700-1100USD in similar condition ranges. Those are the standard units for most race cars. Special units that are model specific, or reverse rotation for an application can bring big money if someone needs it and usually come on ebay with high reserves as to wait for the specific buyer.
Non tell-tale go for around 250USD less across the board.
All these figures are in my opinion, from buying and selling a few over the years....
