* I am told by the Pro Mazda Championship that the car will be allowed to run in the series with the following provision. All new Star Race Car parts and any Star engines will be inventoried and accounted for. When you retire a Star engine back to Speed Source for rebuild, you will then get a Speed Source sealed engine. With respect to suspension A Arms, those to will be accounted for and once you have used your Star parts you must replace with Pro Mazda Series identified parts. So in other words, you get to use the Star parts once, you can NOT replace Star parts with new Star parts.

The car is great, runs well, does everything well. Problem is no one to race with in our region. We ramped up to race in the Pro series this year but when we lost the Indy race in Edmonton a ton of sponsorship dollars also vaporized!
Three years ago it was painted, wet sanded to 3000 and it still looks pretty good. The tub is good, it does not have the S bend. we installed a new complete wood floor this year and it has only been tracked once this year so it is worn but still very good as well.
We always change engine oil and filter every 800 miles or second race weekend, which usually include a dial day. Gear oil is never re used after a gear change, always new gear oil. Brake fluid is flushed one to two times per year depending on race frequency.
I do have people interested in a rent a ride program for an FC so if you have a well prepared Zetec or a USF 2000 race car that has been loved and well cared for we would consider that in partial trade plus.
Below is how the car looked this June, it has been tracked once this year, about 400 miles and still looks the same. We did change the 3, oil breather / return hoses in the engine compartment to a light weight, blue hose.
In the pic attached, have a look at the edge that is where the engine cover and the tub meet. Since installing the new air-box this year, that lip has reduced quite a bit. The engine cover IMO still does not fit well but that's the way most are if they have the old style air box and with the new air box it fits better but still not perfect.
The overhead engine shot is how the engine bay is now with the oil return lines changed to the lightweight hose and the new Air Box. Please forgive the dust on the car.
People that have no interest in the car but do know well prepared race cars such as Keith Willis from Aim Autosport and Marty Knoll from MK Technologies have seen the car, worked on the car or engineered the car and Im sure will give you their opinion as to the level of preparedness and quality of the race car. Many others in the Pacific north west who also know cars have seen the car. So, if so inclined give them a call or shoot them an email.
Also available for $2000 is a pit wall tire rack / parts storage / work bench /DAQ TAG cart.
Thanks for your interest in the race car.
