    Default 2014 F1 calendar

The 2014 F1 calendar announcement appears to now have 4 events in North America - Canada, New Jersey, Austin, and Mexico City. Nothing but good news for open-wheel racing fans, and the US becomes the only [current] nation to host two F1 events!

I think you're correct! The New Jersey group came up with the BIG BUCKS down payment for the event just before the Singapore race

I still don't understand how any promoter makes money with an F1 race?

The fee for hosting averages out at $23,000,000. But, like Monaco pays NOTHING and in the Far East it runs as high as $67,000,000. Where's the promoters money at those places?

Then again, Apexspeed could put its logo on Alonso's mirror for only $5,000,000 LOL. If you want the rear wing top it's $25,000,000
