He did a real nice job on the track. Congrats!
Also did a nice job on the podium thanking the other classes as we ran the 14 laps caution-free on Sunday. That seemed very unlikely after Friday and Saturday.

All weekend! Constant passing, drafting, sliding, and the occasional farming.
Bob fought though a broken throttle mount and a broken axel during the weekend and it was a well deserved win.
Congrats Bob![]()

WOW.. Well, thanks Mike, I have been working toward that sticker for a while..
WGI was a tough weekend for everyone, I'm sure. It was hot, muggy and exhausting. I definitely had my share of issues this past weekend, as did Ross and Joe. All three of us had some mishap, issue or broken parts during the weekend. Sundays race was full of mistakes, fantastic passes, a few spins and some off course excursions for a bunch.
I would like to thank everyone on the grid, but my FF competitors were fantastic. Everyone was aggressive, but gave enough room for all. Passing was clean and close. A fantastic time for sure.
WGI did a really good job keeping the race green, even though there was 6 cars in various places around the circuit near the end of the race.
I am very proud to be a part of this class and the people who race in it. Thank you again for making my first National Win one to remember. (and to Ross / Joe for the champagne bath)

I also need to thank my Wife (pit crew) for well, everything.![]()

Bob, congratulations. You beat some VERY stout competition and had a bunch of setbacks during the weekend.
Your girl deserves a lot of credit too. The two of you are a team and worked your way to a big win.
Please don't sell the car!
For the grey beards (there are some of us) it is fun to have you and Ross setting a standard for others to strive for. We would hate to lose that
I have to add this. WGI has had an earned reputation of going FCY for just about any incident and it has in the past ruined our racing. By contrast the guys at the 40th at Road America were doing a hot pull for all but the most serious crash. This weekend I was happy to see standing yellows for a stranded car and no pace car. Someone is listening and addressing what might have been an over correction to a 'mandate'. Keep up the good work, I love racing the Glen

Congrats Bob. Maybe someday I'll get a good boy sticker from Mike.
