SR Project wanted

I was injured in my Formula Ford last year and the car was written off. I am looking for a track car/racer which offers a bit more protection as I cannot afford to miss two months of work again. My budget is somewhat limited, but I do have cash.

I am looking for a car in any condition to repair or rebuild or just drive if I get lucky. I am 6'0'' and weight 230 lbs. so the cockpit needs to be big enough, though that can be modified too.

Thanks for taking time to write. That is a cool car with obviously a lot of time and effort in it. I am better at working with a vehicle I can repair and get parts for, and am a very poor fabricator. I think your car is a bit over my head, but thanks again. Bill Pierce

Thanks to all who answered. I have found a Renault Spec Racer that fits my needs exactly. I know that is a generally obsolete car in SCCA, but the price was right and it is in fantastic condition. Plus, it is vintage eligible which is important for me. Again, many thanks.
